Effective December 3, 2025, Texas Roadhouse has appointed Mike Lenihan as its new Chief Financial Officer.
Mike Lenihan’s Background & Responsibilities include:
- Lenihan joins from CKE Restaurants (the parent of Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s), where he served most recently as CFO and Chief Development Officer.
- Before CKE, he spent nearly two decades at Yum! Brands, holding senior finance roles including VP of Financial Planning & Analysis and Treasurer, and Vice President at Pizza Hut.
- At Texas Roadhouse, Lenihan will oversee all financial functions: accounting, reporting, tax, treasury, investor relations, internal audit, and financial analysis.
Lenihan succeeds interim CFO Keith Humpich, who is now promoted to Chief Accounting and Financial Services Officer. The chain has also elevated Sean Renfroe (formerly Deputy General Counsel) to General Counsel, placing him in charge of legal affairs.
These changes follow earlier 2025 appointments, including the chain’s first-ever Chief Growth Officer and Chief Business & Administrative Officer, signaling a broader management overhaul as the chain scales.
