As it accelerates its expansion across India and neighbouring markets, Radisson Hotel Group (RHG) has promoted two key executives to senior regional roles, reinforcing its commitment to operational performance and deeper market penetration in South Asia.

New Leadership Appointments:

  • Vikram Berry has been named Senior Regional Director, Central & East India. Berry brings over 25 years of hospitality experience, including senior roles at Indian Hotels Company (Taj) and Accor, as well as prior experience with RHG’s marketing and communications team.
  • Faisal Nafees takes on the role of Senior Regional Director, West & South India. With more than 25 years in the business, he has been part of RHG for six years, previously serving as GM at Radisson Resort & Spa Lonavala and overseeing multi-property operations in India and Thailand.

RHG is executing a multi-year blueprint to scale its footprint across tier-I, II and III Indian cities, while also strengthening its operational backbone. The leadership promotions are designed to:

  • Localise decision-making and accelerate execution in high-growth regional clusters.
  • Enhance focus on guest experience, brand consistency and revenue growth through more experienced leadership in each zone.
  • Support RHG’s target of delivering both expansion and brand standardisation across its portfolio. The business-standard report notes that these changes ā€œreflect the group’s expansion and performance focus across South Asiaā€.

For the hospitality sector in India, the appointments send a clear signal: brands are prioritising region-specific leadership, operational agility and strategic clarity over centralised, one-size-fits-all approaches.
