Skyline Chili has named Carl Stealey chief executive officer, bringing a consumer-products and restaurant industry veteran into the top role as the Cincinnati-based chain looks to build on a period of investment and expansion.
Stealey succeeds Dick Williams, who has served as CEO since 2023 and will remain chairman of the board, continuing to work on the company’s strategy. Williams said Skyline has significant momentum and described Stealey as the right leader to build on it.
Stealey most recently served as chief commercial officer of The Honey Baked Ham Company. Before that, he spent six years as president of the retail division of The Marzetti Company, where the business grew beyond $1 billion in annual revenue. His previous leadership roles include positions at Conagra Brands, Mead Johnson Nutrition and Procter & Gamble. He holds an accounting degree from the University of Cincinnati and an MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business.
