Shangri‑La Hotels & Resorts is observing Pink October—Breast Cancer Awareness Month—through a series of initiatives across its global properties, combining awareness‑raising, community engagement, and limited‑edition guest experiences.

Dining and themed culinary events: Several Shangri‑La properties are offering pink‑themed afternoon teas, brunches, cocktails, and desserts. For example, Shangri‑La The Shard in London, Bosphorus in Istanbul, Paris, and New Delhi have curated special pink menus or tea services. Proceeds from these dining experiences are being directed to breast cancer charities in different regions.

Wellness and community programmes: Hotels are also arranging wellness‑oriented offerings, mixing indulgence with purpose. These include themed spa treatments, limited‑edition services, and community‑focused health or awareness sessions.

Charity partnerships and fund‑raising: Part of the proceeds from the Pink October themed experiences are donated or pledged to breast cancer awareness foundations and hospitals, strengthening Shangri‑La’s support for early detection and treatment in various locales.

Shangri‑La’s global reporting confirms that during Pink October, their hotels organise a variety of programmes such as Pink Walks, Zumba, yoga or meditation sessions; and that themed food and beverage items or bakery products are used to raise funds for local breast cancer‑related charities.
