Papa Johns has announced that Chief Financial Officer Ravi Thanawala will leave the company, marking another significant leadership transition as restaurant brands worldwide sharpen their focus on financial performance and long-term profitability.
Thanawala will remain with Papa Johns during a transition period while the company searches for his successor.
His departure comes as restaurant companies continue balancing inflationary pressures, digital investments, franchise development, and shareholder expectations in an increasingly competitive operating environment.
During his tenure, Thanawala played a key role in Papa Johns’ financial strategy, capital allocation, investor relations, and business transformation initiatives. The company has continued investing in digital ordering, loyalty programs, international expansion, and operational improvements while navigating higher labor and commodity costs.
