Dave & Buster’s has appointed Amanda Busby as its new Chief Operations Officer, adding a veteran restaurant and hospitality operator to the leadership team assembled by newly appointed CEO Darin Harper.
Busby joined the company in August and succeeds Tony Wehner, who moved earlier this year to become president of sibling brand Main Event. Her appointment is part of a broader overhaul of Dave & Buster’s executive leadership following Harper’s promotion from CFO to CEO.
The company described Busby as an experienced operations leader with more than 30 years across the restaurant, hospitality and entertainment industries. Her career includes senior leadership roles at SSP America and Red Robin, giving her experience managing large, geographically dispersed restaurant operations.
Dave & Buster’s said Busby is known for a people-first leadership approach built around trust, accountability, clear expectations and continuous development.
As COO, she will be responsible for strengthening operational execution, supporting field teams and improving the guest experience across the Dave & Buster’s system.
The company has also promoted Rachel Morgan to Chief Legal and Administrative Officer and Corporate Secretary, Aldo Rosales to Chief Strategy & Revenue Management Officer and added Derek Sample as Chief Accounting Officer. Other recent hires include Jeremy Tucker as Chief Marketing Officer and Kevin Fish as Chief Technology & Digital Officer.
