Gordon Ramsay’s UK restaurant operations have reported a 3% increase in sales, reaching a record £98.4 million for the 52-week period ending December 2024, up from £95.6 million in 2023. This growth is attributed to the opening of 20 new sites, including the high-profile 22 Bishopsgate development in London.
Despite the revenue boost, the group reported an operating loss before deductibles of £7.3 million, primarily due to the costs associated with the new openings. Adjusted earnings for the year reached £12 million, up from £8.3 million the previous year. The company has also secured fresh investment from private equity firm Lion Capital, which has supported the merger of Ramsay’s UK and international operations into a single entity headquartered in London.
Looking ahead, Ramsay plans to open the UK’s first Hell’s Kitchen restaurant at the Cumberland Hotel in London and is backing the launch of Bonheur by Matt Abé in the former Le Gavroche site in Mayfair.
