Restaurant platform company GoTo Foods has reshaped its executive leadership with two strategic appointments, naming Brett Ubl as Chief Financial Officer and Francisco Bram as Chief Growth Officer. The move reflects the company’s effort to sharpen its financial discipline while accelerating brand growth across global markets.

The leadership additions come as the multi-brand restaurant operator prepares for its next phase of expansion and operational scaling. With a portfolio that includes popular foodservice brands such as Auntie Anne’s, Cinnabon, Jamba, and McAlister’s Deli, the company has been strengthening its executive team to support both franchise growth and evolving consumer engagement strategies.

Brett Ubl joins GoTo Foods from private equity firm Roark Capital, where he spent more than nine years working on financial and operational strategies for major restaurant and franchising brands. During his time there, he was involved in acquisitions and financing strategies linked to well-known chains such as Subway, Dunkin’, and Baskin‑Robbins.

At GoTo Foods, Ubl will oversee finance, accounting, and corporate strategy. His mandate includes strengthening operational discipline and improving unit-level economics across the company’s franchise system. The company expects his financial leadership to help create scalable frameworks for long-term growth while maintaining profitability across its expanding global footprint.

His background in investment strategy and restaurant franchising is expected to bring sharper financial analytics and capital planning to the organization as it continues expanding its brand ecosystem.

Alongside the CFO appointment, GoTo Foods has also tapped Francisco Bram as Chief Growth Officer. Bram brings a diverse background in digital marketing, brand strategy, and consumer engagement from major companies including Chewy, Albertsons, and Uber Eats.

In his new role, Bram will oversee initiatives aimed at driving demand and strengthening customer relationships. His responsibilities will include loyalty programs, personalization strategies, customer insights, and social media engagement—areas increasingly central to restaurant brands competing in an experience-driven market.

The company expects Bram’s leadership to help create scalable marketing and digital strategies that increase repeat visits and deepen customer lifetime value across its portfolio.

The executive hires arrive during a period of leadership transformation at GoTo Foods. The company recently appointed Omer Gajial as CEO, marking the start of a new strategic chapter focused on growth, operational efficiency, and stronger franchise support systems.

Along with the two new executives, the company also expanded the responsibilities of several existing leaders. Brand executive Mike Freeman will now oversee culinary and strategic operations in addition to brand leadership, while Urvi Patel will take on added responsibilities related to co-branding initiatives and growth strategy. Meanwhile, Chief Supply Chain Officer Chris McNutt will continue strengthening operational execution and franchisee support across the network.

The leadership changes signal GoTo Foods’ ambition to scale both its physical footprint and its digital capabilities. The company has already secured franchise commitments for approximately 1,400 new restaurant units globally, highlighting the scale of expansion it aims to achieve in the coming years.

For a company managing several iconic quick-service and fast-casual brands, this leadership pairing is expected to ensure that financial performance and customer demand evolve together as the business enters its next stage of development.
