Suba Hotels Limited has appointed Hakimuddin Kanorwala as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO), reinforcing its leadership team as the company continues to scale operations and expand its footprint.
The appointment, effective April 2026, was made in line with regulatory requirements and forms part of the company’s broader effort to strengthen its financial governance and strategic capabilities.
Kanorwala brings over 15 years of experience in finance and accounts, with expertise spanning financial planning, budgeting, taxation, compliance, risk management, governance, and strategic finance.
He has previously worked with leading hospitality brands, including Hilton Hotels, Accor, and The Indian Hotels Company Limited, building strong domain knowledge across both global and domestic markets.
Prior to joining Suba Hotels, Kanorwala served as Corporate Director – Finance at Roots Corporation Limited, which operates the Ginger Hotels brand under IHCL. In that role, he was responsible for overseeing the organisation’s overall financial function and was part of the key management team.
Known for his strategic approach, Kanorwala has played a role in driving financial decision-making, strengthening governance frameworks, and improving internal controls. His experience also includes leading process transformation initiatives through technology and automation.
At Suba Hotels, his appointment is expected to support the company’s focus on financial efficiency, operational discipline, and long-term growth as it navigates an increasingly competitive hospitality landscape.
