McDonald’s has appointed Skye Anderson as President of McDonald’s USA, elevating a longtime company executive to lead its largest and most influential market.
Anderson succeeds Joe Erlinger, who was recently promoted to President of McDonald’s International Operated Markets, overseeing several of the company’s largest global businesses.
Anderson brings more than two decades of experience at McDonald’s, having held leadership roles across operations, field leadership, franchising and restaurant performance. Most recently, she served as the company’s Chief Restaurant Experience Officer for McDonald’s USA, where she led initiatives spanning restaurant operations, customer experience, digital integration and franchisee support.
Announcing the leadership transition, McDonald’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Chris Kempczinski said Anderson’s operational expertise and understanding of the restaurant system make her well-positioned to lead the business.
“Skye combines deep operational discipline with strong financial judgment and has earned the trust of Owner/Operators, suppliers and employees, I’ve had the opportunity to work closely with Skye throughout much of her career, and I’ve repeatedly turned to her to lead some of our most important businesses and transformation efforts because she’s a proven change agent who can act with urgency to mobilize our System.”
Reflecting on her appointment, Anderson said she looks forward to working alongside franchisees, restaurant teams and company employees to continue building on the brand’s momentum.
