Jimmy Shaw has been re-elected President of the Hotel & Restaurant Association of Western India (HRAWI) during its 75th Annual General Meeting (AGM). The election underscores continuity in leadership as HRAWI charts its strategy for the hospitality sector in Maharashtra and Western India.
Shawās re-election reflects confidence among HRAWI members in his vision and past tenure. HRAWIās delegates, drawn from hotels, restaurants, and allied F&B services, reaffirmed their mandate to lead policy advocacy, sectoral support, and partnership development across the region.
āBeing re-elected President during our 75th year is both an honour and a responsibility. Over the last year, we have built strong momentum on issues critical to the hospitality industry ranging from GST reforms to various processes under the Ease of Doing Business. I am grateful to our members and committee for their trust and support. Our collective achievements prove that when we speak with one voice, we can influence meaningful change,ā says Jimmy Shaw, noted in Hotelier India.
HRAWIās 75th AGM also saw the election of new office bearers across vice presidents, secretaries, and national council positions. The Association highlighted fresh focus areas, skill development, food safety, licensing ease, and digital adoption.
Jimmy Shawās re-election isnāt just a symbolic win; it signals sustained focus for HRAWI at a time when restaurants and hotels need cohesive advocacy.
