Jack in the Box Inc. has appointed Katelyn Zborowski as its new Chief Marketing Officer, reinforcing its focus on brand growth and customer engagement through marketing-led innovation.

The appointment, announced on March 30, 2026, is effective immediately. Zborowski will lead the company’s overall marketing strategy, with a mandate to drive demand, strengthen brand positioning, and deliver value-driven initiatives across the business.

Zborowski’s role will centre on translating consumer insights into marketing strategies that build traffic and long-term brand connection.

According to the company, her responsibilities include driving innovation-led demand and bringing its broader brand vision—referred to internally as “Jack’s Way”—to life across customer touchpoints.

The appointment comes as the San Diego-based quick-service chain continues to refine its positioning in a competitive QSR landscape, where marketing and menu innovation play a critical role in differentiation.

Zborowski joins Jack in the Box with over 15 years of experience in consumer marketing, much of it within Yum! Brands.

Most recently, she served as Head of Brand Strategy and Marketing at Pizza Hut, where she led brand and marketing initiatives. Prior to that, she held leadership roles at Taco Bell, overseeing global brand management and portfolio strategy.

During her tenure at Taco Bell, she contributed to sales growth through the development of more than 40 limited-time offers (LTOs), underscoring her experience in innovation-led marketing within the quick-service sector.

Commenting on the appointment, CEO Lance Tucker highlighted Zborowski’s ability to convert consumer insights into impactful marketing strategies, noting that her experience will support the company’s long-term growth ambitions.

Zborowski, in turn, stated that she aims to build on the brand’s existing foundation, deepen customer engagement, and drive demand through insight-led marketing initiatives.

Founded and headquartered in San Diego, Jack in the Box operates and franchises more than 2,100 restaurants across 22 U.S. states, making it one of the larger hamburger chains in the country.

The company has been focusing on strengthening its brand relevance and customer connection, particularly as competition intensifies across the quick-service restaurant segment.
